• Phone -- Call (630) 856-2850, ask for the development director. You may then give your credit card information (VISA, Master Card, Discover, and American Express accepted). Your gift will be processed immediately and you will receive acknowledgment in the mail for tax purposes.

Commemorative gifts of all amounts serve as a lasting tribute in honor of or in memory of a special individual, and are an important source of support for Camp Akita. Your gift may be in recognition of Anniversaries, Births, Birthdays, Graduations, Academic Achievements, Professional Achievements, Retirements, or Weddings. There is a place on our gift reply form to note your tribute, as well as if you would like us to send an acknowledgment. 

In Kind Gifts -- Camp Akita can accept small, individual donations of items which can be used in the camp program, such as food or cleaning supplies (see needs list). You may want to consider the cost of getting these items to the camp, which may be greater than the cost of purchasing the items locally.

Offers of sizable, bulk donations are reviewed to determine if they meet a current need. Bulk donations are typically new, shrink-wrapped and palletized items, and they are transported by the donor. If you would like to discuss this type of donation, please contact the development director.
