Morning Class Options:

GYMNASTICS
For physical challenge and lots of thrills - this
class is hard to beat. Campers will enjoy learning
power tumbling, acrobatics, team routines and
trampoline skills. Campers will be guided each
day by our experienced instructors. At the end
of the week campers will perform as a class during
our Saturday Night Extravaganza. |

CREATIVE ARTS
Campers will do various activities with arts and
crafts. They will enjoy getting their hands dirty,
gooey, and messy while doing a variety of activities
that include ceramics, leather crafts, models, and
painting at the Camp Akita art studio. Drama class offers the opportunity to improve on-stage presence and public speaking skills. Campers will do a variety of scripted plays and improvisations. Campers will also be presenting some of the plays they have learned. Sign Language classes give the camper the opportunity to learn and experience a new language. (limit 10) |

VIDEOGRAPHY
This class will give campers an opportunity to learn about shooting video footage, editing their footage, and putting together their own short video which will be shown Saturday evening at the Saturday Night Extravaganza.

SPORTS
Campers will have a great time learning the value
of working as a team as well as the various skills
needed in games: soccer, kickball, sand volleyball,
flag football, softball. This class will be a grand
experience. |

HORSEMANSHIP
Enjoy participating in our horse program with
certified instructors. Campers will learn basic
riding skills as well as care and grooming
techniques for the horses. (limit 10) |

WATERSKI/WAKEBOARD
Come and enjoy fun in the sun at our lakefront
and learn how to waterski and wakeboard with our
certified lifeguards and trained instructors.
Campers will love circling the lake onsets or
jumping the wake with the wakeboards. (limit 08) |

SWIMMING LESSONS/BLOB
Campers will love cooling off in our swimming
lake, learning new swim strokes and being
propelled off our brand new blob. Come and enjoy
time splashing with our certified instructors and
lifeguards. |

CLIMBING TOWER
Experience the thrill of climbing our tower - getting
harnessed in and then stepping over the side and
rappelling down to the earth. Campers will learn
the various techniques and skills needed to climb
and will enjoy the enthusiasm of our safe and
certified climbing staff. |
