A Message From the Director...

The experience of your summer is just around the corner – the camp staff is looking forward to having you here for a week of camp. Our theme for this coming summer is “Choose to Stand” with our theme verse from Ephesians 6:13, “Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground and after you have done everything, to stand.”

We can hardly wait to see you! We know you will enjoy the exciting activities here at Camp Akita along with the horses, swimming, and climbing that you will be able to do. Meeting new friends and seeing old ones, will be a great pack of fun. We have planned for you great places at campfire with opportunities to learn new songs and to laugh along with our enthusiastic Camp Akita News Anchors. Then finishing up of Sabbath with our Bible Quest Play.

We hope that coming to camp will open up new challenges, exciting adventures and lasting friendships and that above all else you will enjoy a week of becoming closer with our very Best Friend Jesus. So make plans, pack your bags and travel to Camp Akita for an experience of fun and excitement that you will not soon forget.
