The Lodge

You can view the activities of the lake from the upper deck, as well as from the patio of the guest rooms. The upper deck has been equipped with small wicker tables and two chairs in four locations along the deck.

The main hall will accommodate groups as large as 240. This area is usually used for large meetings, worships and dining. Special arrangements must be made to use the commercial kitchen.

The lodge comes equipped with a PA system with many inputs, VCR and DVD players, as well as a video projector and a screen to handle just about any multimedia presentation.

Also in this facility is a break out room which has the capacity to hold up to 50 people. 

Our Cabins

Each cabin has three levels. There is room on each level for 10 campers where they will utilize bunk beds.  There are two bathrooms for each floor. In addition, the second and third levels have an additional room that can be used for sponsors and/or additional adults.

Guest Rooms

There are nine hotel-like guest rooms in the lodge. Each of these rooms is equipped with one double bed, and a bunk futon with double bed on bottom. The rooms are winterized, and have air conditioners for those hot summer afternoons. Linens will be provided for guests staying in these rooms. Amenities for our guest staying in these rooms include free wireless internet access, a small refrigerator and microwave oven.

Camping

Whether you are roughing it with a tent, camper trailer, or camping in luxury . . . no worries here! Camp Akita offers a full range of facilities for those providing their own shelter. On more than 600 acres, there are plenty of spaces for tents. 

Our RV park now has 38 spaces for just about any size RV's that can travel the open road. Those spaces each have full  hookups to sewer, water, and electricity!

Recreation

Our gymnasium at Camp Akita is the great out-of doors. There are many open fields and trails for activities. One of the many things we'd like to have at Camp Akita is a gymnasium . . . large enough for a regulation basketball court or for volleyball.

The crisp night air got you worried about the temperature of the water in the lake? You needn't be worried, the water is refreshing during the hot summer days!
